Penta provided the Public Address and Visual Message Control systems for all three of the MTA Maryland Rail Transit systems. Penta WavWriter VOIP centralized announcement and visual information system for 48 stations in the Baltimore/BWI Maryland area Commuter Rail system, 14 Metro subway stations and 34 Light Rail stations. Penta supplied redundant OCC server-based systems with off premises backup servers for each of the three transit systems in the MTA Baltimore system. Each station has a SCU, networked digital amplifiers, DSP based audio processor with ambient analysis and auto leveling. Each system can deliver high quality live, pre-recorded, and ad-hoc announcements and sign displays generated from user workstations. Additionally, real time arrival and departure data triggers automated messaging at each station. Visual display interfaces are provided for Daktronics and Data Display visual message displays for ADA compliance.
