Passenger Information and Station Communications

Penta provided the VOIP WavWriter centralized passenger information system with remote backup center for all 125+ stations in the LIRR Commuter Rail system. Penta’s WavWriter manages and delivers audio and visual messages to all stations. Automated messages are triggered via a TCP/IP interface with LIRR TIMACS schedule and prediction system. Recent contracts added interface to new full color Daktronics AF-6700 displays at several locations.
