Penta Corporation is a 46-year-old, New Orleans-based company seeking a C++ Developer to enhance our real-time, computer-based communication systems incorporating digital and VoIP technologies. The best candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and accountable in performing work responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage existing software suite, including updates, patches, and creating new features

• Develop readable and maintainable software code

• Code testing and debugging

• Build APIs to support transactional workloads

• Design and build audio streaming solutions as well as SIP for signaling

• Work with distributed systems and databases

• Revision control with GIT repository

• Work with web-based systems

• Communicate with customers for system requirements and updates

• Some travel may be required

Work will also require strong communication skills, attention to deadlines, assistance with documentation, and the ability to work on multiple projects. The position is full-time, immediate hire.

Work location is onsite at our office in New Orleans, Louisiana but we are happy to accommodate all employees with flexible scheduling and work-from-home upon request.
